CVBL: Utah Takes Out Milwaukee
Brown had 42 points today, leading a new-look Utah team to a shocking 91-80 upset of Milwaukee. "Wow," remarked Milwaukee coach Bob. "We came in thinking we knew what to expect, but we were sure wrong. [Utah coach] Coach Young really did his job preparing for the game, and has turned his team around. If they can keep it up, they'll be a force to be reckoned with."
Said Coach Young, "The players have struggled a bit with our system here. It's nice to see things finally start to sink in. I also have to thank Brown. I think some of the players were a bit intimidated coming in, but after he started dominating the whole team rode the wave."
Utah was led by Brown (42 points, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Edmonds (8 points, 26 boards, 2 assists, a block), Banks (10 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks). Milwaukee was led by Reese (26 points, 0 assists, a steal), Banks (12 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, a block), Ott (14 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks).
With the victory, Utah are now 12-21. They stay at #4 in the Northwest and hold at #11 overall in the Western Conference. Milwaukee fall to 27-4 and 11-1 at home after this defeat. They hold at #1 in the Central and hold at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference.
