CVBL: Orlando Upsets Philadelphia 103-102
A series of mistakes by Philadelphia gave Orlando the 103-102 upset. "We just lost our focus," said Philadelphia coach Bob. "Frankly, they were overmatched and they knew it. We did what we wanted for most of the game, but just blew it. What a tough way to go. You have to give them credit - they stuck around against a tougher opponent and were in position to take advantage when we gave them freebies."
Orlando was led by Orr (7 points, 27 boards, 1 assists, 5 blocks), Vancourt (26 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Wright (19 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks). Philadelphia was led by Wilson (6 points, 6 steals), Austin (23 points, 2 steals, a block), Ziegler (19 points, 6 boards, 1 assists).
Orlando have won their last 5 games and jump to 15-15 and 11-4 at home. They advance to #1 in the Southeast and improve to #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia are now 20-11 after this defeat. They remain at #3 in the Atlantic and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
