CVBL: Oklahoma Cty 104, Toronto 98

The fans got what they came out for, as Oklahoma Cty won a seesaw 104-98 victory over Toronto. "What a great game to have been a part of," said Oklahoma Cty star Walston. "The momentum kept changing and neither team really had a chance to run away with the game. It just came down to having more in the tank at the end, and that was us."

Toronto coach Bob was less enthusiastic about the game. "We had our chances to win the game, but didn't convert them. I'm most bothered that it seemed like we faded down the stretch; I think we may need to spend a little more time working on conditioning in the future. Regardless, it was a great game. Walston and [Toronto star] Daniels really put on a show for the fans."

Oklahoma Cty was led by Walston (14 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Mcneil (18 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Johnson (16 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block). Toronto was led by Daniels (38 points, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Atwood (23 points, 1 assists, a steal), Wright (11 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks).

Oklahoma Cty improve to 16-14 with the win. They remain at #4 in the Northwest and remain at #8 overall in the Western Conference. Toronto stand at 14-16 and 9-6 at home. They stay at #4 in the Atlantic and hold at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference.
