CVBL: Philadelphia Cruises to 119-108 Win over Dallas
In one of the most important games of the season for both teams, Philadelphia upstaged Dallas 119-108. Showing more glitter than a Brittany Spears concert, perfect Philadelphia execution, a brilliant game by Evans, and impeccable play-calling by Bob provided all the right ingredients for a big win.
Forrester was key for Dallas, but after the game he looked like somebody had just run over his dog. "I thought we could do it. The whole game I was still thinking we were going to win. I guess that's the difference between thinking it and doing it. Give Philadelphia credit - they are nothing but class. I just feel sorry for coach Bob. He had us ready and we let him down."
Philadelphia was led by Evans (25 points, 1 assists, 2 steals), Fisher (5 points, 17 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Martinez (16 points, 8 assists). Dallas was led by Forrester (30 points, 1 assists, a block), Perry (22 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Mack (19 points, 3 blocks).
Philadelphia are now 21-11. They remain at #3 in the Atlantic and stay at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Dallas stand at 17-14 and 6-7 at home after today's defeat. They remain at #2 in the Southwest and stay at #7 overall in the Western Conference.
