CVBL: Minnesota Upends Philadelphia
Philadelphia fans watched their team self-destruct today against Minnesota, in one of the biggest upsets of the season. "I'd like to take the credit for great preparations," said Minnesota coach Bob after the game. "We did work our rear ends off getting ready for this game, but I really can't believe the number of chances Philadelphia gave us. First they let us get in the game, and later they let us pull out ahead and take home the win."
Philadelphia head coach Bob declined comment after the game. Lost in his team's horrid performance was the one bright point, a solid outing by Franklin.
Minnesota was led by Edwards (30 points, 13 boards, 3 assists, a block), Kaplan (23 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Brown (8 points, 4 assists, 2 steals). Philadelphia was led by Franklin (15 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Simmons (16 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal), Roberson (12 points, a block).
