CVBL: Atlanta Beats Cleveland 111-109

Atlanta came out on top in an exciting game against Cleveland. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Atlanta coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Cleveland coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Atlanta just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Atlanta was led by Wade (25 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Baker (14 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 5 blocks), Mendez (24 points, a block). Cleveland was led by Smith (30 points, a steal, a block), Hobbs (8 points, 21 boards, 6 assists, a steal), Bravo (22 points, 1 assists, a block).

Atlanta are now 14-18 and 9-7 at home with this victory. They stay at #4 in the Southeast and remain at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland are now 15-17 after today's loss. They hold at #5 in the Central and hold at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
