Miami served notice that their time has come, thanks to an impressive 113-90 win over Phoenix. "I think a lot of people have overlooked us," said Coach Bob after the game. "Maybe with this game and a few more quality wins, the rest of the league will start to take notice." Phoenix certainly took notice today, as losing coach Bob said "We really expected to put on a better game than this. But Miami were just too good."

Miami was led by Williams (16 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Keeney (17 points, 5 boards, 2 assists), Colomb (16 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block). Phoenix was led by Dupree (29 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Fripp (15 points, a block), Virtue (6 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block).

Miami jump to 15-16 and 10-5 at home. They hold at #2 in the Southeast and stay at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's loss, Phoenix fall to 16-17. They remain at #3 in the Pacific and stay at #10 overall in the Western Conference.
