CVBL: 112-91 Memphis

Bob got the most out of Memphis today, the result being a 112-91 win over Boston. "They did everything right," said Boston coach Bob. "That's really all there was to the game. They made the best of the chances we gave them, and didn't give us any really good shots of our own. My hat is off to Bob; he did a heck of a job."

Said Bob, "It was one of those games every coach dreams of. Everything went as hoped. Especially Sigler - without his effort it would have been a tight game."

Memphis was led by Sigler (23 points, 17 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Peppers (24 points, 6 boards, 1 assists), Hayes (16 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks). Boston was led by Groninger (22 points), Mitchell (8 points, a steal, 2 blocks), Woodard (10 points, 2 blocks).

With this victory, Memphis stand at 24-7. They remain at #1 in the Southwest and hold at #3 overall in the Western Conference. Boston are now 7-26 and 3-14 at home. They hold at #5 in the Atlantic and stay at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
