CVBL: Bob Ecstatic as Atlanta Upset Brooklyn

Atlanta came out solid today, defying the predictions and notching the 107-90 upset of Brooklyn. "Somebody forgot to tell them they were underdogs," quipped Brooklyn coach Bob after the game. "No question, they were the better team out there today and deserved this win. I thought we came in prepared, but that was just a lot better than we've seen Atlanta play for some time."

Credit has to be given to Atlanta coach Bob, who brought his team together after some tough losses earlier and has them playing at their best. "Some of the us really took those losses hard," said star Chandler. "But coach sat us down and showed us what we were doing wrong and what we needed to do to turn around. That was great to hear, and you saw the results today."

Atlanta was led by Chandler (8 points, 4 steals, a block), Martinez (16 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Baker (24 points, a block). Brooklyn was led by Hazan (14 points, 5 boards, 11 assists, 4 steals), Gray (17 points, 11 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Duncan (14 points, a steal, a block).

Atlanta are now 16-16 and 14-6 at home. They hold at #1 in the Southeast and remain at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. After this loss, Brooklyn drop to 19-14. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
