CVBL: Washington Uses Overtime for the Big Win
Gibson made 40 points, putting on a show today for the fans as Washington pulled out a huge overtime upset today. The game was close the whole way, with Washington surprising some of the fans just by staying with Denver. But they finished the job, surprising even more people by coming out on top.
Although disappointed with the final result, all Bob said was that he was pleased with his team's effort. "Give Washington credit, they played a great game and looked like the favorites out there."

Washington improve to 13-18 and 11-8 at home after the win. They stay at #5 in the Southeast and hold at #12 overall in the Eastern Conference. Denver halted their winning streak at 5 games, and fall to 24-11. They hold at #1 in the Northwest and hold at #2 overall in the Western Conference.
