CVBL: LA Clippers Cruises Past LA Lakers

LA Clippers served notice that their time has come, thanks to an impressive 94-82 win over LA Lakers. "I think a lot of people have overlooked us," said Coach Bob after the game. "Maybe with this game and a few more quality wins, the rest of the league will start to take notice." LA Lakers certainly took notice today, as losing coach Andreas Helmle said "We really expected to put on a better game than this. But LA Clippers were just too good."

LA Lakers was led by Washington (8 points, 13 assists, 3 steals), Crandell (11 points, 14 boards, 1 assists, a block), Melton (11 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals).

With the victory, LA Clippers improve to 22-12 and 11-4 at home. They hold at #2 in the Pacific and hold at #5 overall in the Western Conference. LA Lakers fall to 11-23. They hold at #4 in the Pacific and stay at #14 overall in the Western Conference.
