CVBL: Atlanta Huge over Milwaukee

Atlanta took advantage of bad calls and lucky breaks, coming away with the 100-88 upset of Milwaukee. "I won't lie and say that we deserved this win," said Atlanta coach Bob, "it was a gift. They outplayed us from the start, and somebody not keeping count of the score would have had them well ahead at the end. But the luck came at the critical points of the game, and somehow we came out on top."

Milwaukee players and coach Bob were livid afterwards. "That had to be one of the worst refereeing jobs I've ever seen," said Bob. "Those guys were like a bunch of idiot clowns out there. Makes you wonder if the game was rigged." Reese players were unavailable for comment.

Atlanta was led by Groninger (20 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Baker (19 points, 12 boards, 1 assists, a block), Wade (15 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a steal, 2 blocks). Milwaukee was led by Reese (27 points, a steal, a block), Jaramillo (18 points, 8 boards, 3 assists), Ott (7 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block).

With this win, Atlanta are now 15-18 and 10-7 at home. They hold at #4 in the Southeast and remain at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's loss, Milwaukee fall to 27-6. They remain at #1 in the Central and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference.
