CVBL: Chicago Express Steamrolls Minnesota 107-99

Chicago beat Minnesota today in a 107-99 game that was close the whole way. For much of the game, it looked like Minnesota would be able to pull off the win, thanks in large part to an outstanding performance by Edwards. But the tide finally turned in the end, with Chicago star Wilson leading his team to victory.

"Definitely a great game," said Chicago coach Bob after the game. "The fans got their money's worth out of it, and both teams put up a good fight. We're just glad that we were able to finish strong and get the W. Wilson was a big part of that, and I don't think we'd have won without his efforts."

Chicago was led by Wilson (22 points, 4 steals), Sigler (31 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Joyner (20 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks). Minnesota was led by Edwards (21 points, 18 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Tracy (8 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals, 5 blocks), Boll (23 points).

With today's win, Chicago are now 21-13 and 14-3 at home. They remain at #3 in the Central and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota fall to 11-21. They stay at #4 in the Northwest and hold at #11 overall in the Western Conference.
