CVBL: Price Moves to Toronto With $22.80M in Pocket
Bob pulled off one of the best moves of his GM career today, bringing in
Price without breaking the bank. The contract is reportedly worth $22.80
million over 4 years, and leaves the team some money to bring in some other
top players as well. When asked why he didn't demand more, Price simply
stated that he wanted to play for a winner, and that wasn't going to happen
if he ate up half the team's budget. Bob was certainly happy to hear this
philosophy, and immediately started looking for other solid contributors to
sign.
