CVBL: Boston Over Utah
Brown led Boston to victory today over Utah in a 112-103 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Coach Young. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Brown made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."
Boston coach Bob was equally admiring of his star. "Utah were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Brown and getting the win today."
Boston was led by Brown (22 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 7 blocks), Melton (20 points, 11 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Washington (5 points, 14 assists). Utah was led by Hill (29 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Robinson (22 points, 7 boards, 4 assists), Hernandez (17 points, 1 assists, 3 steals, a block).
Boston improve to 3-0 and 2-0 at home. They hold at #1 in the Atlantic and improve to #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Utah are now 1-1. They move down to #3 in the Northwest and move down to #10 overall in the Western Conference.
